PRSA Outdoor Steel Pistol Shoot

The PRSA will be hosting a Outdoor Steel Pistol Shoot, at the Richland County Range, 24820 Cooper Hill Road. Richland Center, Wis.
This shoot will be open to anyone 21 years and older. Ages 15-20 are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Registration 9:00am, Shooting begins at 10:00am. Entry fee $10.00. Re-entry is allowed for additional entry fee of $5.00/per.
Competitors will fire one at a time, making 3 runs of a stage, then move to next stage. Shooters may fire in groups.
This is a Timed shoot with penalties for misses and rule violations. Shooter will be timed by electronic shot timer.
Scoring will be by Range Officials. A Certified Range Safety Officer will control the shooting and timing.
Course of Fire:
3 Stages, 3 Runs of each stage, best 2 times will count for awards. Awards will be 33% of entry fees.
Targets will be Steel, Round, Rectangular and Mini Silhouettes, at varying distance (30′ – 50′) and heights. (2′ – 6′)
3 Magazines of 10 rounds, per stage, Total round count 45 minimum, 90 maximum.
Shooters will fire from the Ready position.
All shooters will fire in one class – Standard, Centerfire, Production Handgun.
Additional classes may fire but will not be eligible for Awards. If 7 or more shooters in each, additional classes may be created.
Example, Race Guns, Suppressed, Compensated Guns, Guns w/Arm Braces, Non-Standard Sghts, Rimfire.
Must be in good condition required for shooting and all safety devices functioning.
Handgun, Standard, Production, off the shelf type with Open Sights. No arm braces, no laser, electronic or magnifying sights.
Caliber – Any, (exception – no magnums allowed – unless fired with mid-range/target loads, example: .38 in .357 magnum.)
Ammunition – All, (exception – tracer, explosive, incendiary is not allowed.)
Holsters and spare magazine pouches are recommended but not required.
Eye and hearing protection is required. Shooting gloves are allowed.
Equipment variations may be allowed at the discretion of the Event Director.
