Practical Pistol

Basics of Pistol Shooting or equivalent is required. 

This 3 hour course (95% range work) builds on the foundation of the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting.

Participants must know and apply the 4 golden rules at all times. 

Topics include but are not limited to:

• Firearm Safety
• Range Etiquette
• Apply and build on the fundamentals of shooting
• Draw from holster and workspace
• Administrative, Tactical, & Speed Reloads
• Proper Malfunction Identification and Drills
• Common Mistakes
• Mindset

Equipment needed:

• Firearm
• 3 magazines, minimum
• Eye and Ear protection
• 200 rounds of ammunition
• Sturdy Outside the Waistband Holster
• Magazine pouches – open
  
• Sturdy belt
