PRSA offers Conventional and Action Pistol shooting.
The PRSA Action Pistol shooting is patterned after the NRA Action Pistol course. Some courses, events or matches follow the NRA Action Pistol rulebook. These may be NRA Sanctioned and allows the participant to become a “classified” shooter.
Some courses and functions are custom designed to work within the physical limitations of our facility. These are not “sanctioned” events. The rules for those types of shooting are written “in house” to follow rules established by the NRA, USPSA, IDPA, IPSC and similar rule making bodies.
Conventional pistol shooting (Bullseye) is offered. This type of shooting follows the NRA Conventional Pistol rule book and such courses, events or matches may be sanctioned.
The PRSA also offers Pistol League type shooting in several formats. League shooting may be standard NRA Bullseye or custom slow fire. The PRSA also offers league shooting in the Action Pistol and Defensive Pistol formats for both individuals and teams.
Leagues are conducted during the winter months, from November through April.
In the future we may explore sponsoring an Air Pistol league. The league will consist of precision shooting with air pistols following Olympic style shooting.
Details will be announced on this website as they become available.
If you are interested in becoming involved with any of these types of pistol shooting, please notify us using the Contact Us page or e-mail rcprsa@gmail.com.
All scheduled courses, events or matches are posted on the Events/Calendar page.
