The PRSA Spring Gun Show is over and it appears to have been reasonably successful. There were 70 tables sold, our current capacity, and 599 people attended. The attendance seemed to be down slightly but was fairly steady both Friday evening and Saturday. There was a good mix of vendors with hunting, shooting, reloading and outdoor related items. And the weather cooperated. We heard several positive comments regarding the food service catered by the Richland Center 4H Youth Group. Thank you to all who assisted with setting up tables, manning the gate, checking incoming firearms, provided overnight security, helped with taking down after the show and clean up. We only wish a few more members would have been able to help out, at times we were stressed to provide bodies to fill the various services. The next show will be in October 2018 with the final dates yet to be determined.

Let us have another interesting and challenging winter shooting season!
We are once again hosting a Winter Shooting Program of Light Rifle / Squirrel Gun Shoots similar to the 2016 season. This is a “Fun Shooting” exercise. You do not need to be a member of the Pine River Sports Assn.
The Shoots will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, beginning on 1 October 2017 at 6:30pm – at the PRSA Indoor Range.
The shoots will continue until the 3rd Sunday of April 2018. Holiday weekends will be omitted. Cost is the PRSA normal Range Fee per shoot: $3.00 for members and $6.00 for non-members.
You may participate in as many or few shoots as you desire. Shoots will be fired and scored as “individuals”, no teams.
There will be a minimal number of Rules and Equipment requirements, which will be posted at the range.
